All participants are required to obtain a visa to travel to Ethiopia. The only exceptions are nationals from Djibouti and Kenya. Delegates from these countries are advised to please check the entry requirements before travelling. Please be aware it is your own responsibility to apply for and obtain a visa for the duration of your travel to Ethiopia.
Before you can apply for a visa for Ethiopia the NNN organising team will need to send your passport details to the Ethiopian Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs - you will be asked to complete your passport details during registration so please have these available before you start your registration. The deadline for us to provide these details to the Authorities is 1st August 2018 therefore Registration will close on the 31st July and full details for each delegate will be sent directly to the Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs in Addis Ababa.
The Immigration Authority will supply documentation for each delegate detailing which type of visa will be required for entry into Ethiopia. We hope to have this information to you 4 weeks prior to the Conference allowing you plenty of time to apply for your visa.
Residents of certain countries are able to apply for a conference e-visa, which is a new system introduced by the Ethiopian Government. Please check requirements and eligibility online https://www.evisa.gov.et/. More details will be sent to you in August on this.
